Lakes trail hike at Mt Rainier NP

An amazing combination of lakes, mountains, meadows and water falls hike around the Mt Rainier. The falls colors were beautiful and Mt Rainier somehow looked more tall this time. May be due to the many non-snow patches on the mountain. We started from Paradise visitor center and reached Reflection lake where Rainier appeared in the lake. Then we reached a ridge to overlook Steven’s canyon. From there on meadows kept surprising us all the way till the visitor center. It got cloudy during the last part of the hike  but Rainier looked amazing as usual. It was a different feeling hiking around the mountain and felt good about the summit. The fall colors were on full swing especially on the last stretch of the trail. We drove in Dodge Charger – loved the car – and it was a fun drive.
